Abstract

A piezoelectric ceramic composition and a piezoelectric element using the same are provided to output sound at a low driving voltage by performing a driving operation at the low driving voltage. A plurality of ceramic plates are formed with a lamination of top, intermediate, and bottom ceramic plates(111,112,113). A first alloy layer(31) is formed with silver and palladium inserted between the top ceramic plate and the intermediate ceramic plate. The first alloy layer includes a first insulating aperture(311). A second alloy layer(32) is formed with the silver and the palladium inserted between the intermediate ceramic plate and the bottom ceramic plate. The second alloy layer includes a second insulating aperture(321). A positive electrode passing hole is filled with the silver and is connected to the first insulating aperture. A negative electrode passing hole is filled with the silver and is connected to the second insulating aperture. A top silver layer(21) is coated on an exposed surface of the top ceramic plate and is filled up in the positive electrode passing hole. A bottom silver layer(22) is coated on an exposed surface of the bottom ceramic plate and is filled up in the negative electrode passing hole. A top insulating aperture is formed on the top silver layer to isolate the top silver layer from the silver of the negative electrode passing hole. A bottom insulating aperture is formed on the bottom silver layer to isolate the bottom silver layer from the silver of the positive electrode passing hole. The top silver layer and the second alloy layer are connected to the silver of the positive electrode passing hole to form a positive electrode circuit. The bottom silver layer and the first alloy layer are connected to the silver of the negative electrode passing hole to form a negative electrode circuit.
압전 세라믹 복합체는 소결을 위한 서로 적층된 최고층, 최저층 및 적어도 하나의 층의 중간층 세라믹 판들을 포함한다. 은 및 팔라듐의 합금 층은 모두 두 세라믹 판들 사이에 끼워져 있으며, 양 및 음 전극회로를 형성하기 위해서, 은 층은 최고층 및 최저층 세라믹 판들의 노출된 표면에 각각 코팅되었다. 은 층을 갖는 압전 세라믹 복합체는 압전 액추에이터, 라우드 스피커, 버저를 만드는데 사용되는 압전 소자를 만들기 위해 금속판의 적어도 한 표면에 부착된다.
